What a big victory for Wolves and against the newly promoted side Nottingham Forest. These are the types of games you want to win and win big, because at the end of the season and the goals aren't enough, you will be kicking yourself, that you didn't put away more goals when you should of.

A fine example is Wolves last season, we were playing 9 men Norwich and we didn't kill the game off. We only won that game 2-0 and it could of been a higher score line by far. As for today's game I can still see people complaining about taking Kightly out the game, as he was having a brilliant match and yes he probably would have scored a hattrick. At the end of the day Kightly played 120 minutes, Tuesday night away at Rotherham United and he was took off in this game after 77 minutes, he would of played over 3 hours of football in 4 days. Now Kightly will be meeting up with the England under 21's next week and we don't want to be risking him with any injury's by over playing him, same with Ebanks-Blake as he comes off after 65 minutes, only difference is he didn't play Tuesday night.

Wolves started off the game with a surprise with Stephen Ward as left back, which didn't surprise me as most Wolves fans know, he is a favourite of Mick's and would want him to play in any way he could. To be fair to the Striker he played well at left back, but outpaced at times by the opposition.

But the game was fair to start with, as there was attacking football each way. Now it only took Dave Jones 14 minutes to find the back of the net, with a brilliant shot from outside of the area. But Jones kind of struck again 15 minutes later with a well whipped in free kick, for only Nottingham Forest's Goalkeeper to rush out and punch it, but he flapped at it and somehow Forest's defender Wes Morgan headed it into his own net, to put Wolves 2-0 in the lead

Moments later Wolves was denied a third, with an offside tap in from off Ebanks-Blake. But Kightly put one away just minutes later from a 25 yard shot to make it 3-0. Two minutes later Wolves scored again and we just couldn't believe it, as forest was being totally demolished, but the scorer was none other than big Chris Iwelumo, with a run down the wing from Jarvis and all Iwelumo had to do was tap it in.

At the break Wolves were 4 goals up and if half time didn't come so soon, the score line would much higher as we were just scoring for fun. So much fun when the second half began we put one in our own net for forest, with Collins/Foley scoring an own goal. But just 7 minutes later Kightly struck again, to get his second goal of the game to make it 5-1.

Dave Edwards also had the ball in the back of the net for the 7th time, but was disallowed for offside just like Ebanks-Blake's goal earlier.

Wolves have 13 goals scored and 4 goals conceded in 4 league games, so far we are unbeaten and we are currently top of the league. That is the best way to start off the season, but for it to continue only the team can decide that, with how they play in the upcoming games. I'm not getting carried away as it is a long season and we have only played 4 out of 46 games, but it will be good for while it lasts.
