The first player linked was Nantes and Senegal midfielder Guirane N'Daw who "the People" said Mick McCarthy "had set his sights on him". N'Daw has played in the French league since 2002, first with Sochaux (for 6 years) before signing for Nantes in 2008 making a total of 149 appearances and scoring 8 goals. Being from Senegal he looks like a Will MacKay player so we should stay well away

The second player linked by several sources is Mark Janko who played for Red Bull Salzburg. He is a 6'6 giant who had made just 76 full appearances since 2002 but has scored a very impressive 59 goals

Wolves are still waiting to hear from James McCarthy who is reported to be undecided between Wolves and the mighty Wigan Athletic. Fees have been agreed with both clubs and Hamilton.
