The 22-year-old midfielder is currently on a season long loan deal at Molineux but has expressed his delight at working once again with Glenn Hoddle, the manager who gave him his first break into first team football during his time in charge at White Hart Lane.

"I have thought about this and you never know in football," Ricketts told the Wolves official website.

"I like it here and if the manager stays then I would like to stay also.

"I don't think I'd have to think twice about making the move. I love the formation the manager plays, it gives you freedom as a player and there is a great spirit here.

"From my point of view, then there wouldn't really be a decision to make. Glenn gave me my chance at Spurs and that means a lot to me still."
