No match this weekend

This weekend Wolves would have been playing Cardiff City, but due to Cardiff's F.A. Cup semi final at Wembley against Barnsley, Wolves will not be playing until a week's time, away to Bristol City.

Wolves last match was a good away rwin against Charlton, which was on Sky for many Wolves' fans to see., Wanderers won by three goals to two.
After Charlton's 90th minute equaliser, Wolves fought back in injury time to win the game with a late, late Karl Henry goal.
As a result, Wolves fans are coming out in force to support the team against Bristol City, as the 2000 ticket allocation is fully sold out.

The last time Wolves were at Ashton Gate, was 10 years ago in 1998 when Wolves Beat Bristol 6-1. David Connolly got 4 of those goals with Carl Robinson and Guy Whittingham (Loan) the others. This match was Colin Lee's managerial debut for Wolves after Mark McGhee's sacking.

The match will be remembered by many for the now infamous half time incident, when Wolfie, the Wolves Mascot and three (SafeStyle UK) pigs had a fight on the pitch. Outnumbered, Wolfie gave an excellent account of himself

As Wolves now have a week off, they should be well rested and prepared for the game against Bristol. If this weekend 's results don't go our way, Wolves will be out of the play-off positions and will need to win their games in hand, against Cardiff and WBA, to get back in play-off contention.
