Moxey hints at loan interest

Wolves chief executive Jez Moxley revealed that his club is aiming to sign another couple of players on loan to add strength in depth.

Wolves have got rid of the deadwood from last season by losing 16 players via sales or loan deals. However, boss Mick McCarthy has brought in only Roger Johnson, Jamie O'Hara and Dorus de Vries and is in the market for another player, preferably a quality loanee.

And McCarthy may be able to make at least one signing before Wednesday night, as there has been interest from an unnamed club in a deal for out-of-favour Serbian midfielder Nenad Milijas. The club is reported to be willing to do a player exchange - although the player offered was not 100% to the former Republic of Ireland boss' liking, so Milijas may be staying at Molineux.Speaking to the Express and Star, Moxey revealed the Midlands club's plans:"We're keeping a watching brief - there might be a loan signing.

If we find the right player then we will do everything we can to help Mick sign him."We have allowed a lot of players to go, mostly on loan. But that's what we wanted to do because we were carrying a lot of players who didn't play for us last season."So we're comfortable with where we are."
