O'Hara has joined Wolves on loan from Tottenham for the remainder of the season and could make his debut at Bolton on Wednesday night.
He will be keen to avoid an unwelcome double as he was with Portsmouth for a temporary spell last season when they were relegated.
But midfield rival and Serbian international Milijas has no doubt that O'Hara's arrival can only aid Wolves in their fight to stay up.
He said: "The signing can only be good for us. Jamie is a good player from a top four, top five club in England. I think he will settle in quickly and fit in easily with the lads and we'll all help him do that.
"I would love it if he was Player of the Year here and we stayed up. I hope he plays really well for us. I heard all about him when I was in Serbia which means he must be a good player. All the other lads know him and we'll try to make him happy here."
