McCarthygate - Support from His Fellow Managers

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis said "Wenger is moaning like a drain because it doesn't suit Arsenal, He ain't moaning because it doesn't suit Stoke. The players Mick played, most of them are seasoned professionals -- he hasn't played the youth team."

Hull City gaffer Phil Brown added "I think Mick is well within his rights. He has identified two games in a three-game period where he can possibly get points, Manchester United not being one of them. It is the season-long aim of Mick McCarthy and Wolves to be in the Premier League for another year."

This was in reply to Arsene Whinger's comments on Thursday "It is sad, but what can I do about that? I am responsible for Arsenal. "We compete with Manchester United over 37 games instead of 38. I believe it is a problem for the international credibility of the Premier League, but it is not my problem, it is a Premier League problem."

To be honest the only important thing about this whole charade is the fans who travelled up there and paid £42 for a ticket. Wolves should done the decent thing and at least give them a £20 voucher for the club shop as a gesture of good will.
