"We defended well but I feel relieved and fortunate we got the win," he said after the game at The Molineux.
"I know Coventry thought there was a foul in the build up to the goal and there might well have been so if fortune has favoured us I will take it.
"Coventry probably deserved something but I am pleased to have got the win.
"We are all enjoying the position we are in but I am not going to be getting carried away as I know what is round the corner.
"There is still a long way to go this season."
