"We had to dig in and graft and we'll have to do that again this season.
"Although we didn't play well, we defended well and we're in a decent spell.
"The players have been excellent all season and they have got into a position where they have a chance of getting promoted which wasn't expected at the start of the season.
"Now the pressure, tension and expectation will mount and we have to cope with that."
