Kightly set for Operation

Michael Kightly, who injured his ankle in the game against WBA, is set to have an operation on his ankle to remove a small bony spur. Kightly thought he was back to full fitness when he came on as a sub against Cambridge United in the FA Cup, to help Wolves come back from what was looking like a 1-0 defeat, came back and assisted Wolves to win 2-1.

His next appearance was a few weeks later coming on as a sub against Watford in the cup, he only played a few minutes but felt a slight discomfort. Kightly's operation was only going to be used if he couldn't repair his ankle naturally, but Wolves fans will be lucky if they see Kightly play again this season.
