"It started to trouble me after the Sunderland game and I just haven't been able to shake it off," Kennedy told the clubs official website.
"It's been very frustrating playing on it knowing it's not been 100 percent and, although I'm going to miss a couple of games, I'll just be glad to get it sorted out."
