Jody Craddock out of action for at least 3 months

Wolves will miss Jody in the upcoming months as the only defenders we have to replace him are Neil Collins and Darren Ward.

Collins replaced Craddock as a substitute in the Sheffield Wednesday game, but he made some terrible mistakes that could have cost us the game.

Whereas Darren Ward only played alongside Stearman, in some of the pre-season friendlies, they didn't look comfortable playing together but might need a second chance.

With only two weeks left before the transfer window closes, Mick should be looking to try and get another replacement for Craddock. Also it maybe an option to find someone on a long season loan.

Mick McCarthy told the official website that "Jody's broken his metatarsal and could be out for three months at the outside,"

"It's a huge blow to lose Jody because he's one of our most experienced players and has always done really well for me.

"Obviously it's a blow for him as well because it's always most difficult for the player.

"It's bizarre because there wasn't a bad tackle in the game and yet there are two broken bones.

"Jody's got a broken metatarsal and Richard Hinds for Sheffield Wednesday has got a broken leg.

"Jody just went to run forward and put his foot down and the metatarsal broke - it just happened.

"He'll have it pinned and then we take it from there."
