Jarvis Could Make Blues Clash

By Sam
Saturday, 28th March 2009
Matt Jarvis could be in line for a recall to the Wolves squad for the away game against Birmingham City following a spell on the sidelines with injury.
The Wolves midfielder has not played since sustaining a knee injury in the 2-2 home draw against Cardiff on 22nd February.

However, he is expected to return to first team training this coming week and could be in line for a return to the squad for the top-of-the-table clash against The Blues at St Andrews next Monday night (6th April).

"I've had some injections on it and I am hoping to be in training towards the end of next week, so hopefully I'll be fit and ready for selection against Birmingham," he told skysports.

"If all goes well then I'll be ready for the big game in a week or so. It has been very frustrating and I never like sitting out and watching games, but it is ever worse when there is something so big to play for.

"The lads have been great though and have been getting some great results along the way, so that we are in a good position with six games to go. I can't wait to be part of the final push."
