Wolves started the game well and the squad was unchanged, almost but one player (Jody Craddock) from the Sheffield Wednesday game. After 20 minutes had past, it was Jarvis's cross that Sylvan Ebanks-Blake headed into the back of the net, to put Wolves in the lead.

At half time Wolves was still in the lead, dominating the whole first half, as Ipswich only had a few shots on goal without even troubling Wayne Hennessey. Wolves fans were happy with the first half performance, as they cheered them down to the tunnel. Ipswich fans were booing their own team after a poor performance for them.

Yet it was Ipswich who were playing a better side come the second half, but not putting away any of their chances. But after 60 minutes has passed, Ipswich had the best chance for them in the whole game with having the ball cleared off the line, by Neil Collins that looked hand ball. Meanwhile George Elokobi was down injured, with them carrying on trying to score, but Wolves was awarded a free kick for a separate challenge. Elokobi was stretchered off and is suspected to be out for 3/4 months.

After 76 minutes had passed, the Ipswich player Bruce got a straight red card, for a 2 footed challenge on David Jones. Wolves took advantage of the 10 men and scored from off the free kick, with Dave Edwards putting away his 2nd goal this season from off the bench.

The game was then dead and buried for Ipswich and Wolves was all over them. In Injury time Matt Jarvis played a 1 - 2 with Iwelumo on the edge of the area, what almost made it 3-0 to the Wolves, with Jarvis hitting the outside of the post.

The game ended Ipswich 0-2 Wolves, with a well deserved away win for us, which put us currently in 2nd place in the Coca-Cola Championship.
