"At 1-0 down to Reading, many teams would cave in, but I liked the way we played and when we stepped up a couple of gears they struggled to stay with us," the Wolves boss said after the 1-1 draw at The Madejski Stadium.

"I wanted the game to go another 10 minutes and Reading wanted the final whistle, but early on they battered us.

"With the way other results have gone, this is definitely a good point for us.

"Reading are up. Steve won't admit it, but they are. It will be a tough task for them in the Premiership but any team in this division would swap places with them.

"They have done it the right way, by playing football, and they are a credit to this league."
