Hoddle Defends Officials

The home side thought they had taken a first half lead at The Walkers stadium through David Connolly, who was convinced he had scored a perfectly good goal, only for referee Eddie Evans to wave aside the heated protests before ruling out the goal for offside - and the Wolves boss agreed with the officials decision.

"That is our 20th draw of the season and I've never come across anything like that before," Hoddle said after the 1-1 draw.

"As for Leicester's disallowed goal, I was sitting in the stand and I immediately thought it was an offside.

"Stephen Hughes played the ball through and it was too quick to see whether the ball came off Joleon or not."
