Two first half goals from Colin Cameron and Carl Cort sealed an impressive win for Wolves against promotion chasing Ipswich at Molineux and the Wolves boss was delighted with how well the side played.

"It was a magnificent performance all across the field from start to finish," Hoddle said after Monday night's match.

"If there's a negative, it's that we didn't score more.

"All credit to their keeper. He made three world-class saves but we've proved that we are a good side.

"Joe Royle has changed his side's shape on a night when they needed three points and that shows respect.

"That kind of result has been coming as we'd been playing well without getting our rewards and drawing too many games.

"Now we want to go on and extend this unbeaten run for the rest of the season."
