Freddy Eastwood is transfer listed

On the Wolves website Mick McCarthy has said "Freddy Eastwood will be made for transfer. He'll move on if a deal can be done. It's nothing personal, it's just not worked out."

Freddy moved to Wolves in the summer of last year, for an estimated fee of 1.5m from relegated Southend United. Since Freddy's move to Wolves, he has played 10 league starts and 21 as sub, within these games he has scored only three times. Freddy has started twice in the league cup scoring one goal and he made 2 appearances in the FA Cup both as a sub.

Eastwood recently played a full game against Walsall in a testimonial for Darren Wrack, he scored twice in this game and fitted in well with the team he played with.

Coventry
was linked with signing Eastwood in January, but the deal never went through, so I would expect that they will be trying again to sign him.

Most Wolves fans are going to be sad of his departure, as I am myself. But I just wish him all the best at his club he will be at next.

Who knows what might have happened at Wolves, if Mick had lost his job and Freddy played under a different manager, to see if that would have made a difference.
