Extended Deal For Wolves No.9

Last updated : 22 July 2009 By wolf306
There must have been some hitches with him signing as it was originally announced on th 20th June that he was signing a new deal, details here

No doubt Sylvan will move up the pay scale but will not be earning close to what the prima donnas in the Premiership earn

Speaking on the official website on Wednesday afternoon SEB said "I'm delighted to have signed the contract but it was never in doubt. I've loved every minute of my 18 months here and hopefully the next four years are going to be just as happy."

Chief exec Jez Moxey said "This is a reward to Sylvan for his outstanding goalscoring for the club in the last two years, we want him to feel absolutely magnificent going into the Premier League, where hopefully he can do exceptionally well. It's a big step up but he's really happy about being here and sees his long-term future here too, and we feel we have to act accordingly."

Seb signing this new deal was never in any doubt. There were rumours at the end of last season that the mighty Wigan Athletic and Veerton were lining up bids but these failed to materialise. SEB now has the chance to prove what he can do in the Premiership and has the chance of maybe pushing into the England reckoning for South Africa next year
