Cup Final ? - Not Yet

Whilst what West Ham have achieved in the Premiership is extremely impressive and the style of football excellent, but to come out with some of the comments makes him look a bit silly  or maybe things got lost in translation ?

He is reported to have said on various websites this week including their official site "It will be like a cup final for them but I think we have got enough in the team - I am talking about experience and quality - that we can handle the situation."

Mr Zola, if any game is to feel like a "cup final" for us then it is not West Ham United at home, maybe Manchester United or Chelsea might get the juices flowing and whilst you do have a very good team it is a bit condescending to say we don't have the same quality

Zola added  "I expect them to be very aggressive and play with a lot of enthusiasm and with a lot of passion but, I hope, not with the same quality,

"We know that they have come up and will want to show everybody that they are good enough for the Premier League and are up for the game.

"I expect them to try to press us and try to stop us from playing our football. That will be their main priorities, so we will have to be prepared for this, because if we manage to get around this, then we have a very good chance of winning.

"It will be very difficult because when you play a promoted team at the beginning of the season they are full of enthusiasm. They will give everything."

Zola may be proved right come 1650 tonight but if the Wolves players need any extra motivation then they just have to read his comments
