"Carl is back out training but I can't imagine him being involved in any of the last seven games of the season," the Wolves boss told the Express & Star.
"He's out on the field with his boots on which is always a good sign - he's happy to be back doing football work.
"The fact that Carl is no longer on the running machine is another good sign. It's great that he's back in training but it's still a wait and see job."
