Gary Breen, the 34 year old defender will be leaving Wolves as his contract runs out in the summer. Breen will be free to join any club in the summer and he can join on a free deal.

On the official website Mick McCarthy said: "We want to make some changes and freshen things up, so we need to generate places for new players by transfer listing some of the squad. And these players themselves will want regular first team football to develop their own careers.

"As for Breeny, he wants to continue playing.

"I've had 12 great years working with him at club and international level. We both knew it would come to an end at some stage.

"He keeps himself really fit and has been a fine example to the younger lads. He's been a terrific pro and I'm sure he will go on and be a great asset for someone."

On the good note, Wolves will be taking up the extra 1 year option to renew Jody Cradock's contract and discussions are on the way for Michael Gray whose contract runs out in the summer

The three loan players Kevin Kyle, Graham Stack and Darren Gibson will return to their clubs after their loan spell has ended here at Molineux.

Keith Lowe is another player whose contract runs out in the summer and will not be renewed.
