Wolves Recall Proudlock

Wolves striker Adam Proudlock has been recalled from his loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday today to provide much needed cover up front.

The Newport lad, who scored two goals in five games at Hillsbrough, is expected to go straight in to the squad that faces Walsall this weekend.

Proudlock's return almost definitely slams the door shut on Michael Branch's chances for getting a recall to the first team, despite grabbing a hat-trick in last night's 5-0 defeat of Burton Albion in the Birmingham Senior Cup.

Youngster Jimmi Lee Jones and Kevin Cooper were also on the scoresheet against Nigel Clough's men as Wolves decided to field a strong side at Molineux.

Mo Camara made his long-awaited return from injury and played in the first forty-five minutes. He was replaced by Christian Slater (since when did he stop making movies and join us?!)

Also featuring in the side was Micahel Oakes, Marc Edworthy, Ludo Pollet, Ivar Ingimarsson, Kevin Cooper, Keith Andrews and at his own request, Alex Rae.
