Well the opposition might be slightly disappointed with the draw but there is no doubt that we are over the proverbial moon with it.
After Man United drew Arsenal in the first tie, the odds of a ‘good’ fifth round pairing looked good.
As another potential ‘all Premiership’ tie was drawn it left us definitely looking good for a pair-up with one of our league rivals.
Then the magic number, 14, was drawn – who would it be?
Number 5 – Rochdale.
Superb!
At home and against giant killing lower league opposition – you can’t ask for anything else.
If all Premiership teams win through round five there will still be two representatives from the Nationwide League.
If Wolves make it then we are only one more ‘result’ away from a potential semi-final!
The mind boggles at the possibilities.
