Will it be Miller time at the Reebok?

He’s back and hopefully he can show the rest where the goals are.

King Kenny will hopefully, step out at the Reebok to spearhead Wolves attack in a must win game.

He’s one of the ‘big three’ touted as being able to make the difference in the top flight. That’s a ‘Big ask’ for someone with no prior experience of playing there.

Miller scored over twenty goals last season so he knows where the net is so fingers crossed.

Unfortunately he will have to partner Steffen Use-less-sen rather than Blakey who is once again out with injury. Also the third choice keeper will be standing in for Matt Murray.

Butler
is also a doubt so we might see Luzhny or Okoronkwo make the starting eleven.

I expect Jones to revert to a
4-4-2 formation with hopefully Kennedy restored to his only position out wide on the left. As to whether Camara or Newton goes down the other flank we’ll see at kick off.

In the middle I reckon Gudjonsson has done enough to keep his shirt and will tuck in with Incey, rested in midweek.

However, we all know about our opponents. One of seemingly many clubs to hold a hoodoo over us. We always get a nice reception when we visit our friends in the north, starting with their attempt to charge visitor’s £5 for parking when the home fans can park for free.

I’m also not a fan of the Reebok. Seems like they ran out of seats in the corners of the two main stands.

Bolton
have made the grade in the Premiership. Some inspired loan signings and the flash of genius from Okocha and Djorkaeff give them an edge that we sadly lack.

They’ll be fired up for this game as they’ll want the three points to keep them ticking along quite nicely in mid table.

We just have to get something from this game.

The midweek win in the Carling cup will have given us a fillip but this is where it really matters. To my mind Jones has employed a combination of the wrong tactics and personnel in the three of the six games so far. He has to get this 100% right. Hopefully, if Kennedy can get into the game more then he can provide the ammunition for Miller.

I think whoever scores the first goal will be crucial in determining the outcome of the game. Their must be a mental block that if we go behind, we’re not coming back. Therefore, if we could snatch a lead I reckon the player’s faith will be restored.

Only having the one Premiership goal to date is a poor return.

However, now that our main striker is back and we’ve learnt some lessons this is our first level playing field against opponents with similar ambitions of just remaining in the Premiership.

As for my prediction, well I just think
Bolton will have too much for us on their own patch. I predict a 3-1 home win. I hope I’m wrong, I hope we see a flood of goals for the gold and black army.

Fingers crossed!
