Time to make class tell.

Scenario:

Wolves are up in 6th position, Brighton are propping up the table.

Wolves have to be looking for nothing less than 3 points and make the difference in individual player quality tell between the two teams.

What about the opposition?

Well Brighton have struggled all season to come to terms with life in Division 1 and have only recorded a measly four wins.

A change of manager, now Steve Coppell, briefly sparked some hope but now they are looking like being one of the three automatically relegated this season.

Bobby Zamora is a good player but he’s struggled with injury and hasn’t got to grip with the level of defending.

When the two teams met last year, Brighton pulled off a surprise draw at the Molineux on Sky TV.

However, that was more to do with an inept performance from the hosts.

A midweek home defeat by Wimbledon will have done nothing to give them confidence in advance of Wolves arrival at the Withdean.

Soon to follow for Wolves:

Rochdale in the F.A. cup 5th round and then a glut of fixtures in the coming weeks.

Score Prediction:

Well as much as I don’t like to predict victories, for fear of cursing the lads, I have to believe we can get all three points.

With the exception of Edworthy from the suspended Irwin, I expect the same team to start as did at Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday.

Wolves will have to rise above mediocrity to get the points.

However, with Miller playing well and Kennedy to whip in the crosses, I think we have enough quality to take a maximum return.

Don’t let me down boys!

Come on the Wolves!
