They think it's all over...

Well, a win for Man City at Leicester and defeat for Wolves at Blues could see us all but mathematically relegated this weekend.

A 9 point gap with three games to go, and an improbable goal difference, would mean Division One football is more or less confirmed on Sunday.

A tough game at St.Andrew's would allow us to continue the fight or lay down and die already knowing the result of Saturday's game at the Walkers stadium.

Personally, having seen the 3-3 draw at Man City the other week, Leicester can win the crunch game as Keegan's defence is shocking.

It's now got to the stage of thinking who you'd like to see come down with us. Personally I'd take about 7-8 clubs down with us but Leicester and Leeds look the most likely candidates.

Man City would be a good one to join us in Division One as living in Manchester it would make me smile through the summer.

Fair play to Pompey, I'm pleased they seem to be staying up. Their fans have been fanstastic when you've seen them play at Fratton Park on the TV.

Blackburn would have been good as they can't even fill their ground - shocking waste of a Premiership birth.

Spurs is too much to hope for at this late stage.

However, the six pointers between Leeds v Portsmouth, Leicester v Man City and then to follow : Leicester v Portsmouth will determine Leicester's fate for sure.

I think we'll get 6 more points (at home) to end the season on 34

Leicester will finish on 33
Leeds will finish on 34
Man City will survive with 38 - a last day win over Everton being their saving grace.

However, football is a funny old game.

As for Sunday's fixture well Blues didn't impress me in the 1-1 draw at the Mol. However, they've definitely got a Premiership team and a great striker, quiet of late, so I think they'll be too powerful for us on the day.

As it seems Rae is now heading north, Jones will continue with Cameron in midfield. The Cort/Camara strike partnership will continue to flourish and Sir Denis Irwin will make his 900th league appearance.

To those who are going - hope it's worth the outrageous ticket price - shocking pricing from Blues - look on the football map and also the map of England before you rip fans off.

Come on you Wolves - keep the faith.
