Pick up where we left off.

Scenario:

Well Ipswich and Norwich pegged back the points with weekend victories whilst Wolves were having an afternoon off.

Wolves are now 2 points ahead of their Eastern rivals with the Grimsby away fixture counting as our game in hand.

Rotherham are safe and are out of the play-off reckoning so hopefully their players will be looking forward to there summer holidays.

What about the opposition?

Well we played out a turgid 0-0 draw at Millmoor this season in the league fixture on Sky. We also lost there in the league cup in the penalty shoot out. Therefore, perhaps it will be third time lucky for us this season.

Rotherham have had to recall Mark Robins as they had lost their way in front of goal.

However, they’ve got a decent record on the road having won 7 of their 19 games.

Alan Lee is a key player but fortunately for us, he’s been off form in recent weeks.

You can expect Ronnie Moore to wind up his players to put one over on us.

It took a disputed goal from George Ndah to give us a 2-1 victory in the same fixture last season after coming from behind.

Soon to follow for Wolves:

Race to the line now – Grimsby away midweek, followed by a Sky Friday night live clash with Forest at the City Ground.

Score Prediction:

Well this is the crunch time of the season.

6 games to go, 2 teams chasing hard for the coveted play-off position. We all know we lost our nerve last season when it came to the crunch.

Looks like we might be missing Blakey again through injury. However, could be good news, as it should open the door to a fit-again Ndah.

Personally I think that Ndah’s pace is always going to open up teams.

I think that Incey will blast any players who aren’t busting a gut for victory so I think we’ll get the 3 points.
This will leave us requiring about another 10 points for a play-off position.

We’ll see!

Come on the Wolves!
