Murray and Miller cost us 2 points.

We shouldn’t be surprised by Wolves’ ability to throw away match winning positions. However, it doesn’t make it any less frustrating.

We saw it again tonight once again tonight.

Playing superbly and 2-0 up the goal before half-time signaled a second-half, from the kick off of trying to hang on for a 2-1 victory.

It wasn’t to be though. Once again Matt Murray proved how ‘David James like’ he is in dealing with a relatively straight forward free-kick and the result was a goal.

2-2 at
Forest before the game would have been a good result. Put it into this context and it was a giveaway.

So we continue to lurch towards the play-offs.

Miller must have
realised that Irwin was retiring at the end of the season as he decided to try and stake his claim for right-back next season, early.

Blake played fantastically well on his own up front. If only we’d had Deano on the pitch along side him instead of the Scottish ‘superstar’.

As well, Ndah is back to the comedy clown he was before the goal scoring streak he had in January. Perhaps we need video evidence to see that it really was the lanky injury-prone fool we’d come to mock and jest previously.

Murray
has done well but he’s shown his failings in recent weeks. Although Oakes has a greater fear of crosses than Dracula, I feel his experience could be vital in the forthcoming weeks. Give him a go Jones!

Incey was once again superb. Player of the season for me after a slow, injury plagued start. How, we’ll miss him in the next few weeks and especially next season.

Edworthy made an indefensible case for not giving him a new contract next season.

Lescott and
Butler were solid, Naylor was well Naylor.

Rae huffed and puffed and threatened to get sent off.

Cameron scored a cracking 2nd goal but once again seems to have the stamina of a donkey on
Blackpool beach at 1pm after several children’s ice creams.

Jones looked at the end of the game like a man in search of something. I’m sure we’ll see that come the start of June that turns out to be a new job.

The frustration of supporting Wolves – I’m sure you’ll appreciate where I’m coming from..
