Lescott Signs New Deal

Joleon Lescott has delighted Wolves fans by signing a new five-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2007.

The central defender, who only turns 20 next month, has impressed since becoming a first-team regular under Dave Jones.

Lescott, an England U-20 International has been linked with moves to North London teams, Tottenham and Arsenal but his future for now is at Molineux, where last season’s Young Player Of The Year will be aiming to help Wolves into the Premiership.
