Jones Won't Play Mind Games

After Wolves 3-0 win against Walsall, Dave Jones refused to play mind games with Manchester City boss, Kevin Keegan.

The Wolves boss claimed he didn’t even know what they were as he said: “I don’t know what mind games are – I’ve managed a couple of crossword puzzles and that’s about it.”

On the subject of the Division One Championship he didn’t agree with Keegan that Wolves had the edge over City in the title race but did say: “We’ve got 10 games to go and we want to try and make that gap as wide as possible.” He added: “We have gone ahead of City on goal difference and that could be significant.”

My personal opinion on the whole mind games situation is that I hope it backfires on Keegan like it did when he was the Newcastle boss and lost the title to Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United. I’D LOVE IT! I’D JUST LOVE IT!!
