Dino Baggio in talks with the Wolves.

Well the ‘big’ news is confirmed that Dino Baggio has come to see what he can get from Wolves and the English Premiership.

Call me a sceptic, but this guy is on his way down and has been for a couple of years now.

Sure he has bags of experience but it seems several years ago since he was showing it on the pitch. Considering we already having an ageing midfield, it seems bizarre that once again we should be looking for old legs rather than more youthful players to provide the legs for the likes of Ince and Rae.

Preliminary talks are being held to see what’s what but you don’t decide to move from your native Italy, to a team looking at potential relegation in the Premiership, unless your motivations aren’t cash related.

He’s not really wanted at Lazio anymore and given their financial plight it seems logical for them to offer him out on loan.

But beware: This guy didn’t even play at all last season!

So let’s get real about the ‘hype’ being generated by the media.

On a more hopeful note, the BBC website states that reports are coming out of Norway that Steffen Injury-sen’s medical has shown problems with the forward. This surely means the proposed transfer will collapse.

Overall, I can’t believe that we are finding it this difficult to bring in new players of any quality. Jones reckoned that his managerial reputation would allow him to convince players to come to the Molineux.

Well so far Dave, I’m not impressed.
