Beware the Mariners me hearties

Grimsby at home - 3 points and a comfortable Saturday afternoon you'll be thinking.

Well don't be fooled that Wolves only need to turn up to win!

Grimsby of late have been battling to avoid the relegation trapdoor and scoring goals into the bargain as well. Still this being said Grimsby do lie 3rd from bottom - on equal points but with inferior goal difference to Barnsley. With just 7 matches left to play for both teams it is another 6-pointer but for contrasting reasons.

At the top end of the table Man City, not unexpectedly, have won all their games in hand and now lie in first place. Wolves will want to build on the fantastic work in February, and continue to keep the distance, or add even more, between the local rivals chasing the automatic positions.

We dropped two points up at Blundell Park in December, this time we will be expecting nothing less than all three. Our home record against Grimsby is solid as they never seem to travel well from Cleethorpes to anywhere really.

As for the team news the Cameron or Andrews scenario in midfield will only be decided by Dave Jones in his mind at this time.

Personally I'd prefer Andrews as Cameron seems to be struggling of late after his bright start earlier in the season.

Other than that it should be the same names that have become the regular starting eleven.

I expect Grimsby to be cautious in the opening exchanges, and try and hit us on the counter, like every other team of recent months.

However, if we can get an early goal and tighten up at the back then I see no reason why Wolves can't enjoy themselves and get a bit of confidence back after surrendering leads in the last two away matches.

I've got a mates Season Ticket (as he's away on holiday in Lithuania!) so I'll be in the Stan Cullis making some noise (Barmy Army).

Make sure you do the same - enjoy the match.
