Anything but another draw!

Scenario:

Wolves are in sixth having seen their home form responsible for the whittling down of their advantage over chasing rivals.

Gillingham themselves are only 7 points behind us with a game in hand.

Therefore, IT HAS TO BE a home victory.

What about the opposition?

Actually coming along very nicely. Not really noticed in the division seem to be overlooked a lot but not to be under-rated.

Paul Shaw and Rod Wallace have formed a good partnership that has returned 21 league goals.

Recently had five home games on the trot before winning 1-0 at Watford on Tuesday.

Ex-Wolves failure Simon Osborn will be in midfield alongside player-manager Andy Hessenthaler.

As well we might see Tommy Johnson coming down the right hand side and Guy Ipoua and Mamady Sidibe may also feature.

Not big names but Hessenthaler has got them playing for each other and with commitment – that’s something we’ve seen only in patches from our 11.

Soon to follow for Wolves:

International break then another fixture at home – Rotherham.

Score Prediction:

Well we won 4-0 at Priestfield with Blakey bagging a hat-trick.

Same scoreline would be great but probably unlikely.

The Gills are no fools on their travels but they might make the mistake of coming to play an open game. If they came to defend, like so many other teams, Wolves frustration would no doubt build.

Expect Rod Wallace to score against us that’s for sure.

Blake will probably return to replace the ineffective Deano.

Elsewhere, Cameron I think will start to the starting 11. We might see Rae and Newton out and Cooper come in for a rare start.

After all Coops can’t be any worse than those who have had several chances to impress.

Gonna be tight – but we might have 63 points tomorrow evening.

Keep an eye out for the result of Forest v Norwich that could help us tomorrow.

Come on the Wolves!
