Another trip to the capital for the Wolves.

Wolves make their second trip to north London in the space of 5 days to Arsenal’s neighbors Spurs.

Spurs haven’t faired too well so far this season. The early, non-surprising, departure of Glenn Hoddle as manager has seen them improve in a stop-start manner.

Of their 15 points to date, 10 of them have come at home. The loss of Kanoute through injury proved to be another setback but they still have our old boy Robbie Keane up front with Zamora or Postiga.

However, Kanoute came on as a substitute in the Carling cup win against Man City so unfortunately he might start against us which isn’t good news.

As for us well there were signs of team friction at Arsenal on Tuesday. It remains to be seen whether professional pride will come back into play tomorrow. It seems unlikely that there will be many changes to the starting personal with key players still injured.

However, fans have raised questions that the formation was wrong at Highbury and that at least, we can correct.

I have to be honest and say that this has defeat written all over it. The last two away league performances have been very poor. Spurs are getting their act together and are good at home.

Again, I just can’t see where the goals are coming from. Jones doesn’t seem to know what to do with Miller. Blake is too busy trying to get booked and without Cameron in the midfield there is little threat of any consistency from that area.

This again leaves the defence up against it. Irwin and Naylor are starting to creak under the pressure of constant containment. Spurs will play an open game which will drag our midfield out of it’s protective covering of the back-four.

It doesn’t bode well.

I think we will lose 3-1.

I’m starting to worry that we are going to get cut adrift by the January transfer window opens and this will put off any ‘decent’ players from risking a move to the club.

I also think that Wolves fans are starting to lose a bit of faith as the ticket sales for away games are starting to become easier to purchase. 250 are being made available on the gate tomorrow – this wouldn’t be happening if we were playing well.

Jones really has got his work cut out now. We’ll see how good a manager he really is. If he doesn’t pull it off soon then it might be irreversible. However, this doesn’t mean in no way that he’s not up to it.

All we can hope for is as good a performance as we can muster and take it from there.

Come on the Wolves!
