Always expect the unexpected with Wolves.

Never assume anything where Wolves are concerned – that’s the only thing you can be certain whilst following the men in gold and black!

Another superb victory on our travels has opened up an 8-point gap between Ipswich and us.

In a game that reads as a bit of a nerve jangling conflict, Wolves returned from their first ever visit to the Madjeski stadium with all three points.

Now with just 10 games left, Wolves probably need about 16 more points to get into the play-offs. Norwich took sixth place last season with 75 points however our goal difference is worth an extra point.

So 5 wins, 1 draw from the last 10 games – sounds easy enough but this IS Wolves we are talking about.

We have 5 home games:

Stoke – surely a home win?

Gillingham – see above

Rotherham – see above

Millwall – see above

Leicester – draw.

Away games:

Portsmouth – could nick a point

Grimsby – three points?

Forest – could nick a point

Sheffield United – defeat there

Norwich – defeat there.

So there you go, comfortably 5 wins and 3 draws.

Sorry – this is Wolves!!!

For Stoke at home – read home defeat.

For Sheffield United – read away win.

You never know what to expect until the whistle is blown on Sunday 4th May against Leicester.

Still it’s exciting, and frustrating, in equal measure.

Keep the faith the play-offs are on once again.

Come on the Wolves!
