Wolves Would Consider Megson Appointment

Megson was sacked by bitter rivals West Brom last week and although Hayward is aware of what fans may feel about appointing a former Baggies employee he says he will appoint the best man he can to get Wolves out of the Championship league.

"If Gary Megson was the right man then so be it. I would have to get that across to the fans," he said on Monday.

Following Hayward's comments Megson has emerged as the bookies favourite to fill the post left vacant by the sacking of Dave Jones on Monday morning.
