Wolves have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Norwegian Premier league club Lillestrom to sign striker Bjorn Sigurdarson.

The four-year deal is subject to agreeing personal terms and Sigurdarson passing a medical after arriving at Molineux next month. The striker will stay at Lillestrom for their next three games, and is set to move to Wolverhampton after the game with Tromso on the 13th July.

Thee fee agreed will remain undisclosed due to Lillestrom's club policy. "I am very pleased that an agreement has been reached for us to sign Bjorn," says Wolves manager Stale Solbakken. "he is and exciting young prospect who has the quality to help us achieve our aims both short and long term."

Sigurdarson has been viewed as a special talent on the Scandinavian football scene with a huge amount of potential. He has been in blistering form in the first half of the season scoring seven goals in 11 appearances.

Joey Gudjonsson, a half brother to Sigurdarson who used to play for Wolves expressed that the club would be perfect for him. Sigurdarson was also keen to work with newly-appointed Stale Solbakken which may have been the reason he chose Molineux over Everton and Reading.
