Man of the match: Ikeme

This game had 0-0 written all over it from start to finish, even though I missed the first 15 minutes of the match, due to walking back from the pub. I wouldn't say either teams played well, as they didn't and I am going to try break it down so I don't bore you.

First half from what I saw of it, we played ok but not as good as we did at Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday. After 18 minutes had passed Stephen Ward had a goal disallowed, because he was in an offside position. But what a strike it was though, he hit the post and in. I can't wait for the highlights because you can see nothing at that ground, as I started a song off singing "we need binoculars, we need binoculars" because it was that bad.

Second half and extra time was worse than the first half, with hardly any shots on goal on target. But all I can say is Neil Collins, god help us he is still the worst defender ever to put on a Wolves shirt and he still plays, I bet players from youth team can play better than him!

Even though Ikeme didn't have a lot to do, he kept his composure and made a couple of good saves, but nothing that really troubled him.

I'm skipping a bit out, as if you watch the same football as what I did, you will fall asleep reading it! But all I am going to say is Rotherham Handball Fc, the amount of times Rotherham fans shouted handball, I would be rich. But the Penalties some was well took and some was poor and here is some details of the shootout.

David Jones stepped up first to take the first penalty and what a penalty it was, struck with some pure venom. Next Penalty which was for Rotherham was saved by Ikeme.

Kevin Foley steps up next and what a miss that was, I am sure Wolfie in his suit could of at least got it on target from there! But Rotherham scores the next penalty to make it 1-1.

Iwelumo takes the next penalty and scores, but keeper almost saved it by going the right way. Rotherham took the next penalty and scored to make it 2-2.

Next to step up for Wolves were Stephen Elliott and the keeper saves the poorly taken shot! Rotherham scores the next penalty and takes the advantage to make it 3-2.

Karl Henry scores the next penalty but not enough to keep us in the game, as Rotherham put away their last penalty and Rotherham are through to the third round of the Carling Cup

Out of our 2 Penalties missed, they could have been avoided if Kightly took one and either, Ikeme or Stearman took the other one what was missed. But why get a player (Elliott) who is in such low confidence, to take a penalty I do not know! As for Foley's Penalty, I hope he doesn't ever take one again as that was a bad miss!
