Wolverhampton V Swindon at Molineux Stadium - Match Preview

Ricketts worry for Wolves

Sam Ricketts is a doubt for Wolves' home clash against Swindon but the Black Country club are hopeful he will be fit.

The skipper was the only member of Wanderers' internationals to return to Molineux nursing a niggle but head coach Kenny Jackett expects him to shrug off his knee problem and line up against the Robins.

Defender George Elokobi is not far away from making his return from a hamstring injury while midfielder Dave Edwards is also closing in on his comeback after a foot problem.

However the pair are not ready for action this weekend as Wolves aim to continue their impressive start to the season.

Swindon will be without defender Nathan Byrne.

The Robins appealed against Byrne's 51st-minute red card in the 1-1 draw with MK Dons on Saturday but it was turned down, meaning he will now serve a three-match ban - starting with the trip to face Kenny Jackett's men.

Aaron Oakley continues his recovery from a broken foot and misses out while new signing Dany N'Guessan looks likely to be involved again after manager Mark Cooper praised his display at stadiummk.

Cooper's men make the tricky trip on the back of an unbeaten run of four games but they have not been successful on the road this season, with no away wins in Sky Bet League One.
