Wolverhampton V Millwall at Molineux Stadium - Match Preview

Wolves duo to face tests

Bakary Sako and Tongo Doumbia will both be assessed prior to Wolves' encounter against Millwall at Molineux.

Influential Frenchman Sako is nursing a thigh strain while fellow midfielder Doumbia is struggling with fatigue ahead of the crunch clash.

Skipper Karl Henry is already ruled out as he serves the third and final game of his three-match suspension.

Wolves' squad is being pushed to its limits with Razak Boukari, Georg Margreitter, Slawomir Peszko, Steven Mouyokolo, Wayne Hennessey, Stephen Hunt, George Elokobi and Jamie O'Hara all unavailable.

Boss Stale Solbakken goes into the game feeling the pressure of an eight-match winless run, with four defeats in Wolves' last five outings, while the Black Country club have not won on home soil in five attempts.

Millwall are without the suspended James Henry as Kenny Jacket's men look to extend their unbeaten run.

Saturday's 2-0 victory away at Blackburn extended the Lions' unbeaten run to 11 games and they are up to sixth in the npower Championship table.

But if they are to extend that against Stale Solbakken's struggling side they must do it without Henry, who scored the second goal in Saturday's success.

The winger picked up his fifth yellow card of the season during the victory and serves a one-match ban.

Liam Trotter and Darius Henderson remain doubts. The duo were hoping to be involved on Saturday but neither were passed fit after recent hamstring problems and the trip to Molineux could also be too soon.

The pair are expected to be fit for the clash with Charlton at the weekend, though.
