Striker Facing Ban

A spokesman for footballs governing body, FIFA, admitted Wolves could sack Camara for breach of contract and he could be banned from playing for his country.

"It would be a very unusual situation for a player to be barred from international football following a dispute regarding his contract at his domestic club," said the Fifa spokesman.

"The correct procedure would be for the club to contact the Football Association at Soho Square who would then contact Fifa.

"A definitive ruling would then be made by Fifa players' status committee."

Camara left for France, against the clubs wishes, after talks with Wolves officials on Tuesday and another meeting with the want-away striker and his advisors has been scheduled for 23rd July.
