Out of the Play-off Places

Wolves are currently lying 7th in the Championship with 6 games remaining, after Crystal Palace beat Stoke City by two goal's to one.

The gap between the top five is getting even bigger every week, only because of our two games that we got in hand. One of the games in hand is with Cardiff City and the other with WBA, Both games will be played at the Molineux.

With Wolves still got to play the likes of Bristol City, Ipswich and Plymouth who are all in the mix of the play-offs, so every game becomes a must win to the end of the season. Wolves have still got to play Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry who is currently 3 points adrift from the relegation places, it is still possible for them to go down and so they will be fighting to stay up. But it all could change when we come to play them on the 26th of April, as the table could change yet again.

This season The Championship has become the most unpredictable league in England, with teams like Bristol, who was tipped for mid table who now currently lying in 1st place. All could change again as there has been so many teams this season, who have had a good run and then messed it up and gone down few places, like Coventry, Watford and Charlton who was at the top and now in the play-off mix or just outside play-offs or even as low as just outside relegation places.

Wolves are the second form team of the Championship, so could our run last till the end of the season, then who knows we could be top of the league. Wolves are currently 50-1 (Ladbrokes) to win the Championship. Wolves has not been top this season at any point, at the highest we have been second, but that was towards the beginning of the season, so for Wolves to get the top spot we will need to win our games in hand and our remaining games of the season.

The player of the month award in the Championship, for March has gone to Sylvan Ebanks-Blake. He has fired goals in nearly every game for that month, so could Ebanks-Blake fire Wolves in the top spots.
