Midfielder O'Hara scored Wolves' opening goal in a 3-1 triumph that ended a run of eight winless league games dating back to mid-August. It was O'Hara's third goal in the last four games and lifted Mick McCarthy's side four places into 13th spot - and above local rivals West Brom.
"Football changes every week. It's crazy. One minute you are down there, the next minute you are up there," said O'Hara.
"It's crazy, especially in the Premier League. We've got Everton away, and that is another game where we think we can get points, and then we've got some big home games.
"If everyone sticks behind us and we keep working as a team, there is no reason why we can't push on. People remind me I said pre-season 10th or 11th spot was a possibility.
"I'm not saying it now. It's a long season. I always say after Christmas, that is when the business end comes in, the big games. If we can keep ourselves mid-table, then after Christmas we can talk about what we can achieve or not."
O'Hara is full of praise for the way McCarthy has refused to panic and kept the players bonded together during lean times on the pitch.
He said: "The gaffer has been different class with everyone. He's settled everyone down and we've tried to keep it relaxed in training and have not too much pressure on the boys. We've gone go-karting as a team and tried to relax as a team because you need to.
"It's a long season and we've got to stick together as a club and there is a great team spirit. Team bonding is massive. You are going to have a row and the boys are going to get on each other's backs because we want the best out of each other.
"You are going to have that in football but we are all good friends and there is a good team spirit in the camp - and that especially has kept the club up for the past three seasons."
