Midfielder On The Comeback Trail

The Wolves midfielder has not played a game this season having undergone knee surgery on the cartilage injury he sustained in a pre-season friendly against Aston Villa.

"I am feeling fine," Davies told the Birmingham Mail.

"I didn't train yesterday as a precaution but I am back training with the first team squad tomorrow.

"I am doing work with the physios as well, and working in the pool to help with strengthening the knee.

"There might be some reserve games coming up before Christmas and the physios have said I should be okay to play in them, so I am looking forward to that.

"I just want to be playing football again, and so any match can't come quick enough.

"But I need to make sure I don't rush things after the time that has been taken to make sure the injury properly heals."
