"I am not happy. I am raging," McCarthy said after the match.
"I find it hard to see anything positive from the game.
"It is hard to see the good stuff when things go wrong in the last ten minutes.
"It was a good finish by Dougie Freedman for Palace's goal but it was another goal we should never have conceded. He should not have been in the position to score.
"Crystal Palace got what they wanted to achieve which is to get a point. But as far as I am concerned that is four points we shouldn't have dropped in the last two games."
