Wolves boss Mick McCarthy was said to have been among those eyeing the Republic of Ireland Under 21 international when Cork played St Patrick's Athletic on Monday night and a report in the Irish Daily Mirror says McCarthy is ready to launch a £900,000 bid for the highly rated Donavan.
