"The main thing for us was that we picked up a win. It was vital to get a win under our belts," Hoddle said after the game.
"It was a pitch to play a different type of game, a battling performance was needed on a pitch like that.
"It was a terrific goal, we set it up lovely, Carl Cort laid it off superbly well and it was vintage Incey, who finished it like he was 18, not 38.
"He pulled his hamstring having the shot so it shows what a character he is to play the full 90 minutes."
