"We weren't out of the blocks very quickly. I asked for and got for a better performance in the second half.
"But it was a frustrating day all round, made more so by the referee. It wasn't just against us, but both sides.
"Southampton and ourselves both need a bit of magic dust, which is a bit of luck at the right time."
