Hoddle Delighted With First Half Performance

An own goal from the visitors defender Damien Delaney was enough to see Wolves extend their unbeaten run in the Championship to a club-record 21 games.

"In the first half of the game we were magnificent and we could easily have been three or four goals up," Hoddle said after the game.

"There was a nice balance in our play so the only let-down was that we didn't score more goals.

"We need to punish teams more to put ourselves in a dominant position. At the end Hull had a couple of long shots which Michael Oakes needed to save."
